How do I optimize a product?
Open the Prodtimize app from your Shopify admin, go to Products, select a product, and choose either "Optimize Details" (title, description, tags) or "Optimize Image" (background removal or full enhancement).
Do I need to create a separate account?
No. The app authenticates through your Shopify store — no separate sign-up needed.

What plans are available?
We offer four plans: Free (5 optimizations/mo, $0), Growth (30 optimizations/mo, $7.99/mo), Scale (100 optimizations/mo, $19.99/mo), and Business (1,000 optimizations/mo, $49.99/mo). All plans are billed through Shopify.
No. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry over.
How do I change my plan?
Plan changes are managed through Shopify. Go to the Shopify App Store, find Prodtimize, and select a different plan. Changes take effect immediately.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin. There are no cancellation fees.
Optimize Details
What does "Optimize Details" do?
It uses AI to improve your product title, description, bullet points, tags, and SEO metadata to help your listing rank better and convert more visitors.
Will it overwrite my existing content?
No. You will see the suggested changes first and can review them before applying. Nothing is published without your approval.
Optimize Image
What's the difference between "Remove Background" and "Full"?
Remove Background (0.5 credits) strips the background from your image, leaving a clean cutout. Full optimization (1 credit) removes the background, adds a professional new background, and applies focus enhancement.
What image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, and WebP images are supported. Images should be at least 500×500 pixels for best results.
Data & Privacy
What data does the app access?
The app accesses your product catalog (titles, descriptions, tags, images) and basic store information. We do not access customer data, orders, or payment information.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. Your product data is processed in real-time for optimization only and is not used to train any AI models.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Your data is deleted within 30 days of uninstalling the app. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Something went wrong with an optimization. What should I do?
If an optimization didn't produce the expected result, you can try again (it will use another credit) or contact us at shopify@prodtimize.com and we'll look into it.
