Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing or using the Prodtimize Shopify App ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

These Terms apply to all merchants and users who install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

Prodtimize for Shopify is a product optimization app that uses AI to help merchants improve their product listings. The App provides:

• Optimize Details: AI-generated improvements for product titles, descriptions, tags, and SEO metadata.
• Optimize Image — Remove Background: Automated background removal from product images.
• Optimize Image — Full: Complete image enhancement including background removal, new background, and focus optimization.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• All billing is managed through Shopify's billing system.
• Plans are billed monthly and include a set number of optimizations per billing cycle.
• Unused optimizations do not roll over to the next billing cycle.
• You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time through the Shopify App Store.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with Shopify's refund policies.

4. Credit Costs

• Optimize Details: 1 credit per product.
• Optimize Image — Remove Background: 0.5 credits per image.
• Optimize Image — Full: 1 credit per image.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to generate false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the App.
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls.
• Use the App in violation of any applicable laws or Shopify's terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

The App uses AI to generate optimized product content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.
• You are responsible for reviewing all content before publishing to your store.
• We do not guarantee any specific results, rankings, or sales performance.
• You own the content generated through the App.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its features are owned by Prodtimize and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your product data and any content generated using the App.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRODTIMIZE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may uninstall the App at any time through Shopify. Upon uninstallation, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
